Allison Lester is a member of the Jewish Vegan Life Montreal Council and founder of KindHuman Tribe, an inclusive wellness community dedicated to helping people live healthier, more compassionate lives through plant-based living.
Already a vegetarian, Allison and her family embraced a fully vegan lifestyle in 2017 after the birth of their second daughter, whose dairy allergy led them to eliminate dairy from their home. What began as a necessity quickly became a calling. After breastfeeding her daughters for a combined five years, she developed a deep reverence for the bond between mother and baby and felt inspired to extend that compassion to all mothers and their young.
Passionate about raising healthy vegan children, Allison immersed herself in the study of plant-based nutrition, gut health, yoga, breathwork, and regenerative health. Through embracing a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle and prioritizing gut health, she experienced significant personal health improvements, including being able to discontinue five prescription medications under medical supervision and seeing symptoms of eczema and inflammatory bowel disease resolve.
Today, she leads with health as a bridge to compassion, believing that when people learn how to thrive on a plant-based lifestyle, choosing veganism becomes both joyful and sustainable. Through KindHuman Tribe, she is committed to educating, inspiring, and supporting others on their journey toward healthier, kinder living.
