Laura Meizler, the Chair of JVL’s Tikkun Circle initiative, brings over 25 years of experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and community leadership, with a career defined by service, conviction, and a genuine passion for building institutions and communities that endure.
She served as a Financial Advisor and Vice President at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and as a wealth advisor at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she founded Women & Wealth, a global initiative dedicated to elevating women across the firm.
Earlier in her career she earned a coveted Institutional Investor ranking as an equity analyst, a distinction that reflects the rigor and discipline she has brought to every role since.
Laura is also a certified health coach and founded an award-winning company that became a three-time Shark Tank finalist, giving her firsthand insight into what it takes to build and scale a business from the ground up.
She holds a degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School, where she received a Merit Scholarship from the Financial Women’s Association. She mentors at MassChallenge and sits on several boards.
Three of her five children call Israel home. A devoted Torah student, passionate animal advocate, and committed voice for the Jewish people, Laura recently relocated to Los Angeles to reconnect with her college boyfriend. You can find her walking the Strand with her dogs, practicing yoga or reading a good book.
