Natalie serves on the Jewish Vegan Life Pittsburgh Council and is the Executive Director of Humane Action Pennsylvania, where she leads the organization’s campaigns, programs, and educational initiatives focused on advancing animal protection. She monitors and evaluates policy, regulatory, and legal developments at the federal, state, and local levels and works with policymakers, law enforcement, and community stakeholders to strengthen animal protection and ensure existing laws are effectively enforced.

Raised in the Reform Jewish tradition, Natalie grew up attending Temple Beth Israel in Steubenville, Ohio. Her Jewish identity continues to shape her commitment to compassion, justice, community, and service. She is a proud member of Beit Kulanu in Pittsburgh and values being part of an inclusive Jewish community that welcomes people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Deeply connected to her Jewish heritage, history, traditions, and peoplehood, she finds meaning in Jewish traditions and in the responsibility to help build a more just and compassionate world.

Natalie is a founding member of The Humane League’s Animal Policy Alliance and has received numerous honors for her work, including recognition as a 2024 City & State Above & Beyond honoree, a 2023 City & State Pennsylvania Power 100 honoree, and a member of The Incline’s 2019 “Who’s Next” Animal Advocates. She was also recognized by PUMP and Pittsburgh Magazine as one of their 40 Under 40 and received a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellowship in 2023.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree from George Washington University.
