Passover Earth Day

I pledge to make a positive impact on our planet by embracing a vegan lifestyle during Passover and/or Earth Day. By choosing plant-based foods, I am reducing my carbon footprint, conserving natural resources, and promoting compassion for all living beings.

Passover is a story about redemption, and it has far wider ramifications for all forms of slavery. Today, modern society is enslaved to a drug known as the carnivorous diet that harms our bodies, our communities, and our planet. There is an urgent need to redeem ourselves in an environmental sense and ensure that we are not destroyed as a result of this slavery.

About the Passover Earth Day Campaign

Join us in celebrating the convergence of Passover and Earth Day on April 22, 2024, a rare alignment set to repeat in exactly 30 years from now.

This campaign was born drawing on inspiration from the incredible events of the Passover story. From the plagues that shook Egypt to the miraculous parting of the sea, we see Earth and nature rallying behind humanity, fighting on the side of justice and aiding the Jewish people in their hour of need.

This year, as we stand at the convergence of Passover and Earth Day, we are reminded of this symbiotic relationship between humanity and our planet. Just as Earth championed our liberation, it’s now our turn to take a stand and fight for the liberation of the beings that co-inhabit this planet and the survival of our shared home, Earth.

This Passover, we call on the world to recognize that our food choices possess the power to heal and safeguard our planet for future generations. But only if we seize this opportunity to act and don’t remain complacent bystanders.
